Windsor family portrait
No, not a portrait of the Windsor family (aka the Royal family!) but a family portrait session in Windsor… 🙂
When Nick contacted me to see if I could come and take some family photographs to commemorate his mother Nicole’s birthday, I was pleased to do so. Often these occasions go by unrecorded, or perhaps only by a few cellphone selfies, which is a shame when it’s an important milestone and family members have travelled around the globe to be there.
Family portrait photos in the garden
As it was a bright spring day we decided to do the photos outdoors in the garden. The session only took about 30-40 minutes – we wanted to get a variety of different group photos but also leave time for some candid photos of the children, and especially some photos of Nicole with new grandchild Raffi!
Nicole had given me a list of the different family combinations that she wanted, which made it easy to tick them off as we went. Getting four small children to cooperate for posed photos wasn’t quite as easy (it never is!) But all went well and I’m glad I had the opportunity to photograph a memorable occasion for this family.
Here are just a few of the photos from our portrait session:
