Family Portrait photography – preserve those memories forever
Our portrait sessions are fun – a relaxed session at your home or a mutually agreed location, for up to 6 people. Usually the shoot lasts about forty minutes to an hour, and we’ll use a variety of settings. Do let me know if you have any specific image (such as a family group, or Grandma with the kids) that you especially want to get.
You can wear whatever clothes you feel comfortable in, but bear in mind that strong patterns or big logos draw the eye away from the people in a picture. You don’t need to all dress in matching outfits either – just keep it simple and classic.
Parties and celebrations
If you’re having a family party or celebration, whether it’s a birthday, wedding anniversary, christening or just a get-together, I’d be happy to come and photograph everyone having fun! Usually we do a few posed group photos to start with and then I just shoot documentary style, capturing moments as they happen.
Social media portraits
If you’d like a portrait for use on social media – LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc – that’s a lot more flattering than the average selfie, then please get in touch!
A portrait shoot is quick and easy. We can either do an indoor shoot with studio style lighting if you want a fairly formal portrait, with your choice of plain background, or shoot outdoors with the natural environment if you’d like something more relaxed.
Shooting on Location
I don’t maintain a studio as I find I get better results by shooting on location – either at your home or at a park or the beach – anywhere you like!
I’m based just south of Guildford in Surrey, and travel to your location within 35 miles radius is included. If you live further afield please ask for a quote.
A photo session costs from £95, depending on the size of your group. Then you can pick prints, canvases etc – prices for individual prints start from £7.50, block mounted prints from £60 and canvases from £135.
I offer a wide variety of prints and enlargements, which you can choose at our consultation or via a free password-protected online gallery, as well as coffee-table books and traditional bound albums.
