If you’re looking for a Surrey wedding photographer you’ve come to the right place!

I’m based between Guildford and Cranleigh, and have been living in Surrey for the past seven years. In that time I have photographed weddings at most of the major Surrey wedding venues. I have also photographed weddings at register offices throughout the county.

Surrey has a wealth of amazing venues, from Ramster Hall near Chiddingfold in the west to Langshott Manor and Coltsford Mill in the east. I haven’t worked at every single one but I know many of them very well. Among my favourites are Loseley Park, Botley’s Mansion, Gate Street Barn, Farnham Castle, Hartsfield Manor, Ghyll Manor, Cain Manor, Gildings Barns, Nonsuch Mansion, Wotton House, and Tyrrells Wood, but there are so many more!

Incidentally, if you are getting married at a venue I haven’t worked at before I’ll always pop over and check it out before the big day. That way I will have a good grasp of the layout and where the best places are going to be for pictures.

One of the things I check when I visit a venue is whether there is a suitable location for photos indoors as well as outdoors, since as we know the British weather can’t always be relied on, even in summer.

Experienced local Surrey wedding photographer

I have been a full-time professional wedding photographer for over fifteen years. As well as the UK I have photographed weddings in the Caribbean, USA, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East. I’m happy to travel, but Surrey is home territory!

My aim is to make the photography side of things as relaxed and stress-free an experience for you as possible. Most of the day I am shooting in an unobtrusive documentary style, with small and quiet cameras. Many of my clients comment that they hardly noticed me working – which is ideal.

If you’d like some family group photos that’s not a problem – just give me a list ahead of time and we can get them done quickly and efficiently, immediately after the ceremony or during the drinks reception.

I also like to do a short private photo shoot with just the two of you – normally we find a quiet area in the venue grounds and spend 20 minutes or so getting some pictures, away from the “paparazzi”! If you’d like sunset shots and the weather is cooperative we can do those too.

Wedding photography packages for Surrey weddings

Whether you are planning an all-day celebration at a country house or just a short ceremony with a few pictures afterwards at your local register office, I have photography packages to suit your needs. I’m also happy to tailor my coverage if there’s something specific you’re looking for.

The main thing to decide is how much coverage you need. I can cover your preparations, or start with the ceremony if you prefer. It’s also up to you if you’d like me to stay to photograph speeches, the cake-cutting, and your first dance and general dancing.

All my photography packages for Surrey weddings include digital files on USB, and most also include a selection of prints or an album. I do encourage couples to think about an album, as they are pretty much guaranteed to last for years, whereas digital files are more easily lost.
