Whitney and Joe’s wedding day saw some typical English weather for two Americans in London – overcast skies and the occasional heavy shower – but that didn’t faze them at all, and the whole day went off without a hitch – apart from the groom and groomsmen having to sprint a little from the pub to the church to dodge the showers!
Once again I was shooting alongside Lloyd Dobbie for this wedding – always a pleasure, thanks Lloyd!
The guests were a mix of family and friends from both the US and the UK – Whitney’s parents live in London and both Whitney and Joe have lived and worked here.

Two ex-London Transport Routemaster buses were laid on to take the guests from the church to the reception at One Great George St in the heart of Westminster:
Keeping with the London theme and maybe because there were a few “limeys” present, hundreds of limes were used to decorate the tables, each of which was named after a station on the “Tube”:
