Spring wedding at Fulham Palace

Spring wedding at Fulham Palace

Finally, it seems that Spring has sprung! Last Saturday the sun was shining and cherry blossom was starting to make an appearance, as I drove up to Hammersmith to shoot a wedding in conjunction with the estimable Mr. Lloyd Dobbie.

Jo and Tristan’s ceremony took place at Holy Trinity Church, Brook Green, and the reception was held in the elegant surroundings of Fulham Palace.

This really was a quintessentially English wedding – the bride and groom travelled from the church to Fulham Palace in Tristan’s grandfather’s Bentley, while I and the guests made the short journey on a couple of classic old-style red double-decker Routemaster buses.

And there’s one thing that always says “English wedding” to me – the ladies’ hats! 🙂

Here’s my selection of images from the day – click on any image to enlarge:

  1. Great wedding Chris!!

    Greetings,
    Anita

  2. I was married in that Church Chris and unsurprisingly our Reception was at Fulham Palace too. We left via the river on a rather rough clinker boat we owned. Luckily we didn’t have to go far: that was about the only journey it ever did without breaking down!
    Great Photos!
