Libby and Paul were married at the Cisswood House Hotel, near Horsham Sussex, on a perfect June day.
In fact it was almost too perfect for some of the guys who were dressed in traditional morning suits – those aren’t the coolest clothes to wear in the kind of weather we’ve been fortunate to have lately!
I shot this one alongside Jane Wilkinson – it was the first time we had worked together and I must say it was a very enjoyable day… Here are a few of my favourite images from the wedding:
Libby’s a delicate thing but she certainly put a lot of energy into throwing the bouquet!
I love capturing reactions during the speeches at the reception – Libby’s Mum clearly enjoyed best man Lewis’s speech!
For the first dance I put up a video light to backlight the couple and separate them from the background – it also gave me some extra illumination so I didn’t have to use flash (and also helped counteract the effect of the DJ’s coloured lights!):
