Until Izzy and Kate asked me to help with their special day, I hadn’t photographed a Langshott Manor wedding, but I hope I get the opportunity to do so again – it’s a historic and elegant venue tucked away in the countryside near Crawley, not far from Gatwick Airport.
The main building is Elizabethan, so you have to watch your head sometimes and not rush round corners, but the atmosphere is very traditional and welcoming, and the elegant gardens provide some good spots for photographs!
With two brides I had my work cut out dashing from one room to another making sure I got photos of them both getting ready – but everything came together and there were plenty of smiles to go around.
Kate & Izzy’s civil ceremony was held in the Mulberry restaurant, which was also the venue for their wedding breakfast. We had a few showers during the day, but I was still able to do the group photos outside after the wedding breakfast, as well as a photo shoot with Kate and Izzy on their own.
Here’s my first selection of photos from Langshott Manor – I’ll be posting some more in a day or two, so please do check back!
Many congratulations to Kate & Izzy – comments are welcome and please do share this page with family and friends. I’ll be posting another selection of images in the next day or two…
