Rugby League | Surrey Sharks vs Weald Warriors
Yesterday I drove down to Surrey Sports Park in Guildford to shoot some pictures of the semi-final Rugby League match in the 2015 London Cup between local team Surrey Sharks and Weald Warriors. As you’ll see from the photos, it was a fiercely-contested and somewhat bruising match…
We had high hopes of Surrey Sharks making it into the final, but sadly it wasn’t to be – Weald Warriors came out winners 26-18, thanks to tighter organisation and also being the heavier side! But well done Surrey Sharks – they gave their all and for much of the match the scores were level.
Sadly also we had one Sharks player who had to be ferried to hospital by ambulance after a heavy tackle – the good news is that the Royal Surrey is just across the road from the Sports Park so he didn’t have far to travel, and it seems he’s OK although a bit concussed.
