Leatherhead & Surrey Downs wedding | Elle & James
You could clearly see the happiness bursting out of Elle and James as they got married at Leatherhead Register Office – with plenty of family and friends to help them celebrate at Surrey Downs Golf Club afterwards.
The 18th century Mansion in Leatherhead is a very elegant place to get married, with its mahogany panelling and classical style. After the ceremony we went outside to do the official family photos in the gardens, then everybody drove the short distance to Surrey Downs Golf Club for the reception.
After Elle & James had had time to catch their breath and greet their guests, Ian from the golf club kindly drove us out on to the course to a quiet area overlooking the Surrey Hills for some photos of just the two of them, before returning for the buffet meal and (of course) speeches, cake cutting and first dance – not to mention lots of lively and fun Greek dancing from Elle’s side of the family!
To round off a perfect day there was a magnificent sunset so we popped outside for some photos just as the sun slid down towards the horizon.
