Storytelling photography and a relaxed, friendly approach
My aim is always to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Wedding clients often comment on my unobtrusive style, and portrait clients appreciate my unfussy and friendly approach.
I am based just south of Guildford in Surrey. I photograph not only Surrey weddings but also in Hampshire, Sussex, London and throughout the UK.
I am also happy to travel if you are getting married overseas. Over the past 15 years I have photographed many destination weddings in the Caribbean, USA, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East.
Get in touch to find out how I can help you record some special memories.

When I was asked by my colleague Ryan Browne to help out with covering Bobbie and Prav’s wedding in Cheshire, I was happy to say “yes”. Asian weddings in general and Hindu ceremonies in particular are always such happy and colourful occasions. Also I don’t mind travelling away from my usual “patch” – it’s fun to shoot somewhere new. So I loaded the camera gear into the car and headed up the M40 and M6…
If I had to pick one word to sum up this wedding I think it would be “joyful”. Weddings are often stressful affairs – there is so much to organise ahead of the big day, and sometimes this carries over into the day itself – but John and Jason and their families and friends sailed through it all very happily, and a hugely enjoyable time was had by all.
A Surrey church wedding is always a pleasure to photograph. Although I don’t mind travelling to shoot weddings, this one was very close to home, being in Shalford and Cranleigh which are only a few miles away.
I could tell when I first met Lydia & Ian that they were the kind of people who pretty much take everything in their stride and enjoy life to the full – which was just as well as their wedding day was one of the wettest we’ve had this summer.
If “The Sun” newspaper were reporting on James & Jo’s wedding, the headline would have to be “what a scorcher!” 🙂
Last Sunday was an exceptionally hot day – which made for some great pictures, but wasn’t the most comfortable environment for Jo and James’ guests, who gathered at The Walled Garden at Cowdray, West Sussex for the civil ceremony and reception.
Many congratulations to Kim & Austin, who were married at the Church of Christ The King in Wimbledon Park a couple of Saturdays ago. When I met Kim and Austin last September to chat about their wedding plans I could tell that they were a relaxed and fun couple. I had a feeling that their wedding day would be equally unfussy – and so it proved to be.
