Storytelling photography and a relaxed, friendly approach
My aim is always to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Wedding clients often comment on my unobtrusive style, and portrait clients appreciate my unfussy and friendly approach.
I am based just south of Guildford in Surrey. I photograph not only Surrey weddings but also in Hampshire, Sussex, London and throughout the UK.
I am also happy to travel if you are getting married overseas. Over the past 15 years I have photographed many destination weddings in the Caribbean, USA, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East.
Get in touch to find out how I can help you record some special memories.

My last wedding fair of the Spring season. Come along and have a chat about your wedding plans, I’ll be bringing lots of sample albums and prints!
(Originally scheduled for 18th March, the new date for this Show is now 15th April)
I love shooting outdoor weddings, but there’s always the risk of rain (in this country at least). Fortunately the sun shone brightly for Jessica and Ben’s wedding in a beautiful Surrey garden near Gomshall – although it was a bit breezy which meant the ladies had to hold on to their hats!
I will confess to being a little nervous about shooting this wedding, as both Paul and Layla are very into photography, and were looking for something out of the ordinary. But I needn’t have worried – Paul and Layla were relaxed, fun and very easy to work with!
If I had to pick one word to sum up Natasha and Terry’s wedding I think it would be “joy”. Not just the couple but everybody present seemed to be having a really good time throughout the day. This despite the best efforts of the British climate to put a dampener on things!
I was delighted to help my colleague Steve Shipman photograph Nina and Ryan’s London wedding at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall recently.
I’m sometimes asked “what happens if you are unable to photograph our wedding for some reason?”
The answer is that I belong to a network of photographers who all help each other out if any of us needs it. It’s a good system, as in most cases there is someone available who can cover, even at short notice, which gives everybody peace of mind.
I’m sure you’ve heard of a certain fantasy TV series that features fire-breathing dragons, frozen zombie-like warriors from beyond a wall of ice, and a whole set of warring noble houses all vying for control of an Iron Throne?
Hair & make-up artist Natasha Wiggins and I thought it would be fun to take inspiration from this TV show (“Game of Thrones”, if you haven’t guessed) and bring it to life in a bridal fashion shoot.
